Offshore Supply Vessel Chartering

Many of these clients already have an excellent knowledge of support vessel markets themselves but prefer to use our service because we offer the most time and cost effective method of vessel procurement.

Spot Charter:

We are contactable 24 hours a day all year round in case of short notice or emergency requirements.

Term Charter:

Longer term charter requirements mean the choice of candidates need not be limited to the immediate vicinity of operations. For long term charter we will circulate the requirement to all candidates with suitable tonnage regardless of present location to ensure charterers get the optimum choice of quality for price.

Integrated Tendering Service:

Tendering is usually a costly and time consuming operation. We can oversee the entire bid process on behalf of charterers. This can be tailor made to each Charterer’s individual requirements. In particular we can draw up and circulate bids, then collate and evaluate offers in terms of technical and commercial merit.

Budgetary Prices:

A major part of our service is to assist charterers in the planning of their budgets by providing indicative prices and availability of vessels for long range projects.

Spot Charter Service:

We can assist charterers in sub-charter of any under utilised time-charter equipment they may have time charter commitments to.

We can market the vessel and oversee chartering activity on charterers behalf. Our 24 hour service will ensure that all potential charter opportunities will be acted upon.

Towage & Tug Chartering

Alduco is also actively involved in the business of general towing and tug chartering.

Alduco arranges charters for ocean and coastal towage. Our database enables us to offer the same degree of coverage of the available tug market and an important aspect of our service is in providing lump-sum indications / quotations for the towage of a variety of objects ranging from ships for repair or demolition to barges and rigs.

As an additional service to our clients we can arrange competitive insurance cover for the towage voyage.

Finally we also source tugs for port and terminal assistance.

Sale & Purchase

Alduco is active in the sale and purchase of newbuilding and second offshore support vessels, tugs, barges, and through our UK representative office, vessels for demolition.

Newbuilding:

We are able to cover shipyards active in the building of offshore support vessels, tugs and barges. This includes yards in Latin America, Europe and Far East.

Second-hand:

Through regular contact with owners and a constantly updating our Alduco Shipping database we have a very detailed record of secondhand vessels for sale.

In addition to straight cash sale transactions we can also assist our clients to negotiate lease purchase deals and finance packages.

As an additional complementary service, we can also quote on ship-delivery for newly purchased tonnage.

Demolition

Alduco through its affiliates specialises in ship disposal. This covers the full range of services including buyers for tonnage earmarked for demolition worlwide.
