• 28th March 2011 - Alduco Energy/Deepwater Corrosion Services Inc. at NOG 2011
After a successful participation last year, Alduco Energy once again took part and was one of the sponsors of the Nigerian Oil & Gas 2011 Conference (NOG 2011) which took place in Abuja, Nigeria between the 21st – 24th of February 2011.
The biggest annual Oil & Gas conference and exhibition of its kind in Africa, and is one of the events put in the calendars of senior decision makers from the governments, the private sector, facility owners, asset integrity managers, procurement executives, engineers, etc. This year’s conference and exhibition was attended by more than 9,000 participants.
Alduco Energy, in conjunction with its partner from Houston, Deepwater Corrosion Services Inc; we were able to showcase a range of products and services which include RBI, NDT and Corrosion Control. We also had the honor of having the CEO of Deepwater Corrosion Services Inc., Jim Britton, at our stand, who is a world authority in corrosion control solutions, and together with his company are responsible for developing the world’s most innovative and cost effective cathodic protection retrofit solutions which can be found all over the world protecting and extending the life of facilities of leading international oil and gas companies including Mobil, Chevron, Total, Shell, etc.
Jim Britton (Deepwater CEO) and Alfredo Jones (Alduco Energy CEO), in conjunction with their respective teams, were able to showcase and explain the innovative products and services that they have available for the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria and the Gulf of Guinea.
A tremendous amount of interest was shown by the visitors to our stand on the solutions we had, as not only could they see the cost savings, but also the ease of installation and maintenance of the products that were showcased, especially the Deepwater patented life extension Cathodic Protection retrofit solutions for Oil and Gas infrastructure, including FPSO’s, platforms, pipelines, plants, etc.
Alduco Energy and Deepwater were quite pleased with the discussions and response they got, and are quite confident that some of these solutions would be implemented on some of our visitor’s facilities before the end of the year.
