• March 2021 - Alduco Engineering Services becomes the first local company in Equatorial Guinea to be ISO certified and in three international standards, BN ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 9001:2015

Alduco Engineering Services, a multi award-winning company that provides engineering and asset integrity management services to the oil & gas industry in the Gulf of Guinea, was certified on the 11th of March 2021 by the international certification body TUV NORD CERT GmbH in three different ISO certifications, including ISO 45001:2018 (OH&S) management system, ISO 14001:2015 (environmental) management system, and ISO 9001:2015 (quality) management system.
Speaking at the certificate presentation ceremony, the Managing Director of Alduco Engineering Services, Mr. Alfredo JONES said “This certification is a tremendous achievement and is proof of the business's ongoing commitment to the needs of all stakeholders through quality assurance, continuous improvement, consistency, and efficiencies in the areas of QA/QC, Safety and the Environment. The award of the ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 9001:2015, certifications opens up many doors for Alduco Engineering Services, and is key to our participation in a large number of tenders, including regional & international opportunities in the oil & gas sector.”
The Head of QSHE at Alduco Engineering Services, Mr. Bernard Felizardo, who oversaw the certification process, attributed the success to the commitment by management towards Quality, Safety, Environment, as well as managing business compliance and operational risks associated with the provision of products and services. He said: “The certification process involved a rigorous and meticulous audit by TUV NORD CERT GmbH, a world-class ISO certification organization and an independent accredited registrar company.”
The ISO certifications are critical to Alduco Engineering operations:
- It proves that we have a strong integrated management system in place and that all employees involved in the provision of our products and services have a clear understanding of that system and how to implement and maintain it.
- The critical principles of these ISO Certifications are absorbed by all stakeholders, and we are actively working on engaging our staff and stakeholders to become involved, add their opinions, optimize the procedures, templates, and practices to meet the needs of our clients.

ISO certification is one of the most widely recognized and internationally accepted quality management standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS).
ISO 9001:2015 certification helps the company primarily to achieve customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements through the application of the system, the continual improvement of the system and the prevention of nonconformity.
ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It is a systematic framework to manage the immediate and long term environmental impacts of an organization’s products, services and processes. Our company assures stakeholders that our environmental management system meets international industry specific environmental standards.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and illness. ISO 45001:2018 helps our company to achieve the intended outcomes of our occupational health and safety management system.
